The Valrhona mocha is to die for, and their matcha is great. Service is always perfect. My only real complaint is that seating is rough and there are ZERO outlets accessible from any seat. They’re also quite busy and seating is limited to tiny, cramped tables, massive booths, or uncomfortable bar stools. Go for the drinks and take them to go!

Coffee was really good, customer service wasn’t something that stood out but you never know what a person is going through so I never expect someone to be perfect all the time. Atmosphere was so nice, the furniture is so cozy I would definitely come back

Barista in Nob Hill is one of my favorite coffee spots in Portland! Their coffee is truly top-notch, and I love the vibe and the cozy, stylish decor. The street view is especially beautiful during spring, summer, and autumn, and they even have outdoor seating — perfect for enjoying a drink while reading a book. Also, a must-try: their banana bread! It’s moist, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with their coffee. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area

Cute little cafe, clean, well staffed, when I got there, there was 10 people in the queue and I still got my coffee within 2 mins of ordering so very efficient. Very reasonably priced - about $5-6 USD for a cheeky cup… I’m Australian so we can be a bit judgey of American coffee but it’s actually as good as you’d get at any good Aussie cafe so well done team!! 🫡

Best coffee in Nob Hill! I lived in the area a few years and this was my go to—i still come back after moving up the hill. I avoided it for at first because I thought the name was pretentious—but one day i gave it a chance. the people who run it are really nice, the atmosphere is so pleasantly moody in land of sterile white coffee shops, and the coffee matches—their espresso is bold and smokey. delicious & cozy. highly recommend on a rainy fall morning 🙂‍↕️

This place routinely blocks the sidewalk with their furniture on both sides of the sidewalk so that wheelchairs, strollers, etc. cannot pass. You are an annoyance to the neighborhood and out of compliance with city ordinances.

Get it together.

Ok, please start exporting your baristas around America. This is one of the best American coffees I’ve had in 3 years living here. Actually it’s the best. Dialed in espresso, and a creamy perfect cappuccino. Great coffee, nice ambience, did I mention the coffee was good?
