My granddaughter brought me here. what a cute place. It was my first time having Matcha & I loved it. Also had onigiri & miso soup. It was really good & filling. I had a Matcha Parfait which was delicious. Got some cookies to go. We will definitely be coming back..Thank you for the hospitality.
I don't really enjoy visiting Portland that much anymore but I love this Cafe! Very authentic Japanese, they even sell authentic kimonos there! But the best part is the owner who is really wonderful!
This is a wonderful place and it is very sad how it (like many other businesses) is impacted by the homeless situation. I’ve come here numerous times with full view of folks in psychosis or tweaking outside and it is disturbing. Once someone on the street stopped to tell me that there was a violent person on the street hitting people in the head with glass bottles. Someone also shot into BTMC’s window a couple of years ago.
