Willa has celebrated several birthday's at BEIJING HOT POT --- what fun memories, sharing with best friends. This was her 17th birthday this week --- all coming from Washougal.
Sincerely, one of my top 5 favorite meals in Portland. The broth is savory and simple; the veggies are fresh and clean; the meat is perfectly thin-sliced. I typically get the vegetarian combo for two and add a meat or two, as I love mushrooms and greens. Served with doing sauces and chili oil.
Highly recommend the lamb and rib eye. The mushrooms include enoki, King oyster, shitake and white beech mushroom. Also, the house made wheat noodles are scrumptious!

The place itself is pretty dated.
Overall the food was good and it was a cool experience. It took awhile to get some of the food, and it came out at random times.
Went for a weeknight dinner. There were a few tables full but overall it wasn’t busy.
Our lot wasn’t heating evenly so we had to keep moving stuff to one small area where it was cooking.
