Soooo good. I love this place! The Herry Berry smoothie, the Pinacolada smoothie and the PB Herman smoothie are what we tried and loved. As well as the Aloha bowl, parfait and veggie rolls. Very clean and good quality ingredients, perfect flavors and nice staff.

Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan.

My girlfriend and I ordered two smoothies, the Dayl strawberry and the daily green. We also ordered the AJ toast. The daily green smoothie was perfect consistency, slightly thick and icy. The dayl strawberry was the consistency of milk and not chilled. I understand with smoothies sometimes the ratio of ingredients to liquid is off, and it comes out very thin so that was understandable just not my preference. The AJ toast however was burnt. We noticed one of the servers (who looked like they were training) was trying to scrape away the burnt face of the toast before serving. If the toast had been burnt, a new piece should be replaced before serving to prevent this kind of an issue, not acceptable.I will say the service otherwise was great, ingredients and flavors blended perfectly for good taste despite the previous negative mentions.

Little bits of plastic blended up in my smoothie, lucky I even noticed.
Staff said the blender cups are old and breaking, so maybe ask them to make yours with a new one.

Coffee and smoothie bowls was what I was in the mood for and this place did not disappoint! Cute little hole in the wall place with great service and delicious food. Feels like the people that work here love to work here and it shows. Highly recommend Best Friends Coffee and Smoothie if you’re in the area! :)

Ive eaten smoothie bowls all over portland. This was the one vendor that hit all the marks you would want to start your morning with some fruit, granola and coffee kick. They are so kind and lovely here. If you are in the mood for a satiating breakfast with health benefit, don’t sleep on best friends. So yummy!! Will come back again soon! Dog approved as well!

I loved this place! Very cute and cozy and their smoothies are really balanced! Not overly sweet or anything. I also liked that they had a small seating area, the vibes are super mellow. Great place to get an after workout pick me up! I’m excited to come back and try more of their menu!
