I have been eating here for years and driving all the way from Garden Home. Until some time about a year ago you could still catch chef Jazz, and the food was the absolute best. Unfortunately I'm not sure if he sold it but the whole thing has gone down hill. The new guys running it don't seem to be able to understand while ordering, favorite dishes don't taste the same, wrong items packed, and some items completely left out. I don't know what has happened but after the last few visits I'm looking for a new place to get Indian food. They used to live upto the name, now not so much.

Food is good but i told the guy mild and i go to eat it and its so spicy my mouth is burning. Make sure they are listening before you take it from them. Now im stuck at home in gladstone where i cant go back and get it having to eat spicy food. I dont waste food and nobody else will eat it due to its spicyness. Ive been here twice and both times they have made a mistake with my food.

I absolutely love the food truck park in downtown Portland. I come to Portland about 5 times a year and hit this place for dinner at least one night each time. Felt like Indian food this time and tried Best Taste of India. Lamb curry, garlic naan, and a mango lassi - seriously good stuff. The lamb was tender, the curry was just the right level of spice and there was enough curry to fully cover the amount of rice. Could not eat it all - large portion size. Naan was great, mango lassi was delicious and creamy.

This was my favorite place for Indian food, but they may be closed now? I've tried a lot recently to order. They are the best!!

I can’t get enough of this place, best Indian food in town in my opinion!! Everything I’ve gotten has been incredible, and I’ve made my way through a lot of the menu at this point. Some of my favorites are the Malai Kofta, Lamb Biryani, and Saag Paneer. The Naan is the real deal.
The portions are huge and usually I can get two meals out of each entree, making the prices extremely reasonable.
Also great that I can bring my vegan friends here and there are a ton of options.

I had the veggie biryani and it was fabulous. Fresh, well cooked, delightfully spiced.Edited to add:The next day went back for more. Got the saag paneer for lunch, and it didn't disappoint at all!

Dude yall have been a bike ride srop for years. But trying to get a cook with experience fir minimum wage is to disgusting for me to think you care about your buisness. When buisnesses do this it leads to their product and cooking practices being shady

I've been ordering food from this cart for a few years now and the quality has been consistently good. Flavours are vibrant, portions are generous and the staff have always been friendly even when they are very busy.My favourites are the Lamb Korma and their Vegetable Samosas. In fact, ordering these as a combo is becoming one of our eating-out staples.
