I’ve been looking for a spacious and easy to reach cafe on the east side of Portland via public transportation for some time now, and I think I’ve found the unicorn of cafes that serve the tastiest non chain restaurant bagel and lox I’ve ever had in Portland. Generous portions of lox and chive cream cheese on a toasted bagel is a perfect companion to my iced mocha in the morning.

Hours need to be updated! They close at 4pm on Sundays but it is listed as 5pm on their Instagram and on Google. Was excited for their promotion but sadly they were closed but the front door was still open.

I came here during the summer! They had a strawberry shortcake latte that I had seen advertised on IG where it was posted multiple times that people had subbed out the espresso for matcha (never from their official account but reposted from other accounts). I asked for the latte with matcha and the cashier told me they could not do that. I told him that I had seen the matcha version posted on Instagram and he told me it wasn’t a menu item and they would not offer that. I said...
