We grew up in Southern CA with some of the best Mexican food in the states and have been looking for a truck that reminds us of home. This place is so good! Great food and service. The tortillas are bomb (iykyk) and their red salsa slaps! We are so happy this place is right down the street, we will be back.

I had birria before but here it's nasty oily.
You got to as for napping and you see a lot of young kids sitting on the tables.

Ordered 4 birria with console, they were very tasty, although they weren't grilled incredibly crispy, so they did kinda fall apart. Came out quick and very hot though, and service was so friendly!

This place is my absolute favorite Mexican food spot! Every-time I order it's so fresh and full of flavor, highly recommend! And their horchata is my favorite in all of Portland!

Best mulitas I've ever had! Amazing food! Got the Birria Plate and it was so good I had to order more food so I gotsome mulitas. And let me tell you I love mulitas in general but these are best I've ever had anywhere! Soo freaking good I had to get thirds! My roommate's got the Quesabirria with Consome soup and she said it was also fantastic. Also: try the Cucumber Agua drink: it's great!

Vampiro was spot on and the quesabirria was alright as well. The consume lacked depth and a bit on the thick side. The side salsas are terrific.

This cart rocks. The birria is tender and very flavorful. It's a great touch they give you onions lime and cilantro on the side with the quesabirria because it really makes the flavor pop (but I know not everyone enjoys onions/cilantro).

I also ordered a chorizo burrito before realizing chorizo wasn't listed on the menu! The worker didn't even mention it (I noticed after paying) but ended up whipping up a fantastic chorizo burrito anyways. Good soft tortilla, and generous servings of rice, pico, sour cream and cilantro.

Also got to shout-out the salsas:
Green salsa was super fresh, added a lot to the burrito. It's a little chunkier than the processed stuff you usually see from chain locations
Red salsa was FANTASTIC. Different flavor than I was expecting but it tastes great and kicks hard in a good way. You don't need to drown your food in this stuff, it brings the heat but doesn't ruin your day.

Great location to walk to locally and they have some nice shaded picnic tables if you want to eat there.

Delicious food, but I caution against ordering online through the storefront option. I ordered 4 tacos last night and fries. My order was ready quick and service was great! When I got home, however, I found I only received 3 tacos. I tried to get assistance but the only option is to call and no one answered or returned my message. The food was great, but for $3.50 a taco, I wanted all of them. Would definitely go back, but order there and check my food before I left.

I’ve never had birria because I didn’t really understand what it was. So maybe this will help some others as well. It reminds me of a shredded French dip sandwich but with so much more flavor (and tortillas). So glad I tried it. The birria plate had rice and beans (which were both a bit bland alone) and it was 2 meals worth of food (except tortillas). I will definitely eat here again.
