Ill dive bar feel I love that’s there’s even a small crowd weekdays I recently visited Portland for two weeks as I’m considering moving here … I was here like every other day of my visit I’d usually order my drinks and sit outside … only downside no martini ingredients and they didn’t put the lemon drop I ordered in the right glass …..elsewise can’t complain drank lots of whisky and 7 on 7s cheap strong drinks ….don’t come here for fancy cocktails but do come for a good time I’ll be back my next visit

This was exactly the vibe we were looking for while waiting for a show to start at a different bar near by. The drinks from Nico were perfection.

I walked by here and thought I would pop in for a beverage. They held my ID for not kidding ten minutes. The RENOWNED (not well known but renowned) bartender (older woman with a terrible attitude) did not want my business even though I was quiet and polite and actually just wanted to throw a couple dollars into the machine because I had some acquaintances outside who wanted to catch up. I decided I didn’t want to be served when I got my ID back so she cursed at me and acted like I created a problem when I did nothing of the sort. I am laid back and chill and honestly her agression set me off my stride just a little so I left. Her self proclaimed bouncer and best friend who is ALSO RENOWNED thought I was a trouble maker and grabbed my mobility device and would not let me pass. She started a fight with a dude in a passing car so I was able to walk away and went to the venue across the street Marie’s. I have 6 minute of my camera turned on just because the audio I felt was necessary to capture since she literally held my cart and if I had tried to walk away she wanted to throw hands. The entire bar was set ablaze by a misunderstanding facilitated by your staff and their company. I explained this to my acquaintances and they understood and apologized the next time I walked past but no one would give me the owners name to speak with them. I was not going to post this review except I keep hearing more and more similar complaints about the morning staff. This bar has a particular draw but lately it just seems to be trashy. The rumor mill is usually not an issue here but even the bartenders seem to have an agenda these days— that being the morning crew is driving people away. Who is the owner? Why does he seem out of touch with the staff and or regulars? No one wanted to deliver my message so here I am on google. What’s going on with our little dive bar? :/
