Traveled from Texas on a business trip. Texans love their BBQ. I give Boomers an 8.5 out of 10. The service was great. I had the Serious Platter. It has a little of everything. The hot sausage was good. Brisket was moist. Pulled pork was OK. Pork loins were alright. Pork ribs were a little cold. Coward greens are good.
Food was fantastic. I smoke my own at home and their ribs were so tender and great sausage. It said pulled pork on our sampler but it was like sliced but still very good. My son and his girl ordered PP sliders and they ate every bite and she’s picky. I loved the Mac and cheese. Good flavor and juicy not dry. Ample food and good beer on tap. $5 Hef and $6 IPA. Great value. Our concert that night at the cascades we spent over $20 for a single ipa in a can....
I dig this spot, always awesome bartenders, killer food, and people are pretty chill, it's my "close to home" go-to for a good drink and some hot chicken strips! Love it!
