We're from MO, so we know the difference between good BBQ & GREAT BBQ. THE FOOD, THE STAFF, THE ATMOSHERE all Were GREAT but especially the brisket. The brisket was so amazing & tender we've ever had. NO Joke!! And the smoked Mac& Cheese delish!! Great Job Bottos!!! Highly recommend for those who love Great BBQ! ❤️

Imagine a Philly cheessteak sandwich made with the best BBQ brisket available in the USA.. you don't have to anymore because this place sells em for only like $14. Ridiculous amount of food. Plenty for two people. No sides though so kind of weird just looking at a ginormous sandwich by itself on the tray.

I ordered a burger and fries to go and waited almost 40 minutes. At least 4-5 other people ordered, waited, and got their food before me. Including people who also ordered burger and fries. I guess they finally realized that they never brought me my order so they rushed and gave me a dry burger with 2 onion slivers on it. They didn’t acknowledge that they forgot my order, even though it was very obvious at this point. A simple apology for a mistake would have been nice instead of trying to play it off like they did nothing wrong. I had wanted to go back to try more of the bbq if they hadn’t treated me so poorly but that sealed the deal for me that I won’t be back.

I’ve been going to bottos for many, many years and they always succeed in satisfying both in food and in experience. Everything I’ve ever had here is super delicious, this is definitely at the top of Portland’s bbq Food Chain. I especially love the jalapeño poppers. Their sauces are also amazing, I love the spicy white Texas one and love mixing it with the tamarind sauce. Their brisket is everything a brisket ought to be. The ribs are great. And the people who work here are always wonderful, especially the man who’s almost always at the counter. Even when they’re busy, I feel like he really takes the time to acknowledge you and go above. 🤍
Oh and their new smash burgers are some of the best in town too, and for a steal. Still need to try their tallow fries :)

I took my good friend here for her birthday per her request. She ordered brisket burnt ends,Mac and cheese and pork and beans. I ordered the original double smash burger and potato salad. This is some of the best food I have had in a long time. Absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back soon!
Best food around! Service was great! Everything is perfect! Still craving it after eating it. Had a bit of everything! My new favorite in Oregon! Worth the price. Only thing I can complain about is they run out fast! 😆
