This is an OG Portland business going strong since 1978. If you like your cold cuts nitrate free and cut to order, then this is the place for you. Be sure to grab a number and a basket near the door before heading back to the meat counter! It's a small place, with a European feel. Bring some patience if you go on a Saturday. I love their grandma homemade kraut & German potato salad. I always but several homemade brat flavors. I also buy Italian pancetta while I’m there. There is also a great selection of cheeses, cold cuts & imported beers & wines. If you have time order a dine in lunch!
