Its a college library cafe- its solid. If you are studying long hours- its a great place to pop in and grab something. I‘m personally a big fan of the blueberry scones. Its good coffee, they also do chais or golden lattes and other seasonal things, but dont go there expecting to ask for a big fancy concoction.

Friendly staff and basic coffee/snacks.

Latte tasted god awful so bitter and sour , Iv never had worse coffe in Portland . I won’t be shopping here again! Was so upset I spent my money here rather than a locally owned coffe shop . Employees need better training on making beverages.

The coffee latte and customer service are just OK.

Had a Carmel macchiato and scone to fuel my study session and the workers were very nice the first time I came in and the second time I came back I was drawn in by the scones yet again and yum breakfast in the library tastes pretty sweet here's to many more productive days and nights and I love that there's a stamp card for espresso drinks too. Since switching over to Peet's Coffee, the drinks here are much better than last year. They have a lot of prepackaged sandwiches, salads, and yogurt cups, as well as other items like chips and candy bars. Service is usually quick and employees are polite. Great for when I'm going to be in the library for a bit and need a coffee or a snack. Love that it is in the PSU library!

I keep buying Branford's products, because they are extremely convenient. Located right in the PSU library, with hours almost as long as the library's hours, they sing a siren song of snacks, meals, coffee and tea. And indeed, their snacks are pretty good! They usually have a decent (if variable) selection of healthy sandwiches and packaged snacks, along with pastries and junk food. The problem is, their coffee is not that good. Nor is their tea. I have yet to actually enjoy any of the drinks I've bought here. For me, the drinks are less about the caffeine and more about the idea of a treat to make studying more pleasant. Somehow, and I swear I don't know how because their tea is pretty high-end and so, I think, is their coffee -- it always manages to be "meh" in flavor. I think they make their lattes with 2% milk, which may be part of the problem. Why. Why would you do that.

Bradford's Bean is the little coffee cart on the first floor of the Portland State University Library. This place has saved me on more than one occasion while being camped out at the library. The baristas here have always been super nice and efficient here. My favorite thing about this coffee cart is that I can bring my own mug and get it filled to the brim with Stumptown drip coffee for less than a dollar! They also currently have a coffee punch card here. If you are not in the mood for coffee they offer a bevy of other beverages. If you need some food to fuel the fire they sell an assortment of baked goods, packaged salads, premade sandwiches, and other snacks. This is the perfect thing for this location. I know many students, myself included, are grateful to have this fabulous little coffee cart.

How can you not love this shop in the heart of the PSU campus? Local beans from Stumptown Roasters, a great staff and really the only decent coffee this side of the river! (why people go to the other shops on campus remains a mystery, lol) Honestly there's nothing bad on the menu, but I personally recommend the white chocolate mocha. I've had them from Coast to Coast and this has to be one of the best I've ever had!

I always get a coffee from here when I'm going to be studying in the library. Great tasting coffee, good sweets and snacks as well. They also have later hours than the starbucks' around campus which is nice.

Bradford's is my savior when I'm at the PSU library! They have drip coffee refills for a dollar and many of the baristas are super chill and fun to talk to. They don't have a tip jar so make sure to leave tips on the counter. Their prices and coffee are both awesome. If Bradford's Bean was a woman I would ask her out on a date.

Pastries are pretty sub par, but .95 cent stumptown coffee if you bring your own cup rules!
