Stumbled upon this place while looking for a place for lunch. I'm glad I did, my sandwich was amazing! I had the Strami, and it might be the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. I'll be back again for sure.

The meat was more like a condiment on their pastrami sandwich. I would say they aren't courting repeat business ;) I will not be a repeat customer.

Since they moved to the single location in the heart of an office building, they’ve become increasingly harder to enjoy simply due to horribly limited parking and further limiting their hours which also directly overlaps with the times of day to which the large offices in the area are full of employees therefore using all available parking for extended periods of time. Great food and great service if you happen to live within walking distance or think far enough ahead to order delivery and don’t mind paying extra fees and additional tips for couriers.Edit: thanks for the update on the hours :) I’ll definitely keep that in mind!Parking: Little to no parking available during open business hours due to the location being aligned with a large office building with the same business hours that already limits the areas daily parking availability.

(4.8/5) Heard somewhere that this was the best sandwich shop in Portland. Grabbed a “Someone on the Blazers” and man oh man was this thing poppin. Great spot to grab a sub sammy. Not too far from the waterfront, so I was able to just walk over and enjoy.

Just amazing! I never knew a sandwich could be this fantastic! The only negative is that I live so far away I will probably never get to eat here again, and now that I know how good a sandwich can be I will be forever searching for something that comes close to the greatness that I experienced here!

It was my first time here and I ordered bbq at rihannas sandwich. It was amazing. I took my first bite and just said wow!! I definitely will be back again and recommend it to all my friends. The service is great and the atmosphere was really nice.

The food is absolutely incredible, but good luck catching them while they’re open.They have always closed by 5pm and on Sundays, but recently changed their hours to also be closed on Saturdays.So unless you work from home or downtown, you will probably never get to enjoy their sandwiches.

I got my first sandwich at the former location even though there was a line outside, which I was actually happy to see because it just shows how much people like the food, I didn’t have to wait long. The service was really efficient and friendly. I took a walk around the block, stopped at a shop, and by the time I came back, my sandwich was ready. The bread was delicious, which is no surprise, since that is featured in the name of the store, and it is baked fresh daily, which so many sandwich shops do not do. As a vegetarian, often I’m not able to find something at a sandwich shop, but they had so many options that I had a hard time deciding. Now I typically get either the Credible Hulk or the VLT.I just found out that they are one of only a few small businesses that offer full healthcare to their full-time employees. I just typically don’t see that, and that is part of my value set as well. I really love supporting companies that do the right thing. I highly recommend you make this part of your weekly treat to yourself. :-)Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were so good! I love my sandwich, and I’ll be coming back for more!

This place has a nice attitude ... friendly people .But ... they have their so called chicken and turkeySandwiches that are mixed with weak bbq sauce -Horrific ! If you don't know how to order here , you will make the same mistake I did . I might Try this place again .. some day ... maybe
