Always consistency in the broth. Its a tiny hole in the wall restaurant, but if you miss it, you're really missing out on an amazing soup. Forget about pho. I would have to say if you're not into udon noodles or pork nuckles you could be taken aback, but truly it's delcious!
Also, I'm all about flavors, so the atmosphere was updated like tables and paint in the past 5 years or so. I never came here for the armosphere except being around a lot of other people who appreciated the bbh there. It can get crowded!

Very friendly and helpful staff with great food at affordable prices! Good size parking lot and a very clean restaurant. Will definitely be back for more.
I want to add that every dish and appetizer we had was amazing and my entire family was pleased with the amount of food we got.

Bun Bo Hue used to be great here! Now it tastes like sugar water. No lemongrass, shrimp paste or complexity of broth anymore. Please bring back the old recipe. thank you!

This is the best bun bo hue Vietnamese restaurant in town and I have tried most of the Vietnamese restaurants in the Portland metro area. The Bun Bo Hue (beef rice noodle soup) and the spring roll dishes are excellent and delicious. Don’t judge the rough exterior of the restaurant. Inside is super clean and food is some of the best Vietnamese food around. Nice family owned restaurant ever and always greeted with a smile by the owner. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times with my family and friends, all of them had highly recommended this restaurant. We love this place and would love to come back again! Thank you guys!

So good! Worth every penny. Been coming back for years. They recognized me and my husband after the first time we ate here (8+ years ago), and have always been so welcoming. Such a hard working family and their food always makes us feel like we are a part of theirs. 🥰

Ate here with a group. I got the rice and spicy chicken with lemongrass, so good. Very spicy and flavorful. And the spring rolls were fantastic. Everyone else got the soup, and the owner (?) was very helpful and friendly, showing us how to add stuff to the soup and how to eat it.
