Having recently moved from San Jose, I really wanted to like this place's BBH, but I feel like they skimped on everything compared to the another place in Portland we recently tried. Disappointing overall. The hock had no skin and was mostly fat. This was the photo I took before eating. Hot sauce came on the side? That's a first. And they asked if I knew how to use chopsticks after setting that on the table with a fork. Come on! Have a little more faith in your VIETNAMESE...
This place has one of the best BBH in the area. They remodeled in recent years. It looks a lot brighter and neater than it used to. The family that owns it is very friendly and down to earth. Overall, good vibes.
In my opinion this is the best bun bo restaurant ever
