We opted for take out on Veterans day. My husband is a Veteran we recieved wonderful discount and he was thanked by the staff for his service. This restaurant is very special and a great member of the Milwaukie
first time here and i absolutely loved it!! i ordered takeout but when i went in to pick it up, the atmosphere was super warm and cozy. the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. i got the brisket with mild bbq, pork spare ribs with sweet bbq, mash potatoes and coleslaw. the mash potatoes were warm and the gravy was the perfect amount of savory. the coleslaw had just the right amount of sweetness, and the meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection. i will definitely be back!
It's been my wife's and my favorite place to eat for over 30 years!! We go at least two times a week. If you have eaten there you already know how good it is. If not give it a try.
