Love this place. Real dedication to great, high quality pub grub, at reasonable prices. Breakfast served until dinner. ~20 taps of craft beer. Delicious specials. Plenty of room, comfortable seating, a wide selection of pinball cabinets, and local art on display & for sale. What's not to love?
I'm usually in once a week for lunch, but I've had great experiences here for dinner, brunch, & late night hangouts too.
Locally owned & operated

Wish there weren't so many pinball tournaments. Last 2 times we couldn't even play because of this. We decided not to go in.

Great neighborhood bar. Nice staff, good bar, and pretty good food. Didn’t love my wing, a little too fatty for my liking (which I don’t know if I’ve experienced before) but the food people were eating around me looks good. Great pinball selection.

This is a great spot on Gladstone. Happy hour is excellent. Just a nice chill place. Music rolls well. The bartender who usually works late afternoons is wonderful. She does an amazing job. Definitely hit up C

R.I.P. to the C Bar I have known and loved. My husband and I have been going here for years and we have always been impressed by the food and the friendliness of our favorite bartenders. Seriously, we constantly bragged to anyone who would listen about our neighborhood gem. About a year ago we decided to check out the breakfast and noticed that the menus were very odd.. and the food had changed a lot. We were disappointed with the breakfast and felt very over charged. Since then we’ve tried several times to relive the glory days of our favorite spot and have been continuously disappointed by the decline of the quality of food and the increasing prices. We tried again though, and after spending $80 on subpar, flavorless food, I was immediately sick when I got home and I will sadly never return to this bar. I’m not sure what happened here, is there a different chef? Is there different ownership? Whatever it is. This is a different place.

My only reasoning for four stars: be careful of cross contamination if you are allergic to nuts, peanuts, or the pea protein found in beyond beef!
Favorite neighborhood bar of all time. Food is delicious, atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Love all the art, love the rotating happy hour menu, love the breakfast burritos. Every interaction with the staff is superb

It’s a cute divey bar, the bartenders where cutsie but they cut me off from doubles for literally no reason.

Went on a slow Friday. I ordered the chorizo sliders. The bacon pepper jam on those are very delicious. You can tell they make their own beer cheese sauce which is cool, but could be executed a tad better since the sauce was a little grainy. Large portions which should be a given for bar food in my opinion. Satisfied with the visit.

Our late Sunday afternoon lunch was so good! My chevre burger was super delicious, and the happy hour drinks & prices are excellent. (Happy hour 3-6 every day.)
The bartender, Melanie, was friendly, knowledgeable and just fun to interact with.
I also really appreciated that the televisions had NO SPORTS playing, but instead were showing 80's music videos & 80's movies. I don't know if it was just that day or if they regularly strive for the 80's vibes, but I loved it.
There's a pinball room, and plenty of outdoor seating - both covered and uncovered.
We had 2 burgers and 4 drinks, all for less than $60. In Portland, that's a fantastic deal for high-quality food & drink. We're not even in that neighborhood, but we'll be back for sure!

Good little neighborhood bar. My kids took me here for Father's Day brunch. Had steak and eggs and a spicy Bloody Mary. My kids inhaled the French toast. Everything was good. Will return.
