Went for happy hour on a Thursday. Had their bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious! Chill atmosphere, bartender was friendly. Good cider as well.

Food is amazing, the bar is a hair on the pricier side of things, but absolutely worth a stop in!

Yeah, I was there at Cbar, having dinner with a couple of friends and their 2 kids during a visit back here from Mexico. We all ordered dinner, but before our food arrived, they said we had to leave because it was 5:45, and kids aren't allowed. Quite hungry, we balked, wondering why the server would even take our order if our food wouldn't be done before we had to leave. Of course we were bummed, but I certainly did no cussing or yelling, obviously, because I wouldn't do that. I probably said something like, "This sucks, who's the new owner here?!" A few months later, when I actually found out I was banned, I wrote a letter to the new owner, apologizing and paid her double what my meal was, asking her to give me a chance, that I am and have been a good customer SINCE the Cbar opened. But, nope! I'm banned because I balked at being kicked out before my food arrived. It does suck. That was my bar for so long. I brought so many new customers to them too. As their neighbor, I walk by the bar 3 or 4 times a day, still. Now, it's a cold, sad place. All my neighbors used to go to Cbar all the time; now almost none of us do. The Ship Ahoy, Holy Ghost, and The Stone have been a awesome replacements, and so much friendlier than the New Cbar. Another loss of a old Portland Gem.
Kat is not a dog, however I adore her just the same (/dad joke). For real, Kat’s amazing, super personable, attentive and an all around delight. Appreciate you, Kat! Thank you!

good pinball and drinks, have had good food here before, but can't give higher than a two because this is the 3rd time me or someone I know has felt horrible after/almost gotten sick from the burger.
Charming neighborhood bar with great food, art and pinball! Kicking myself for not trying this gem sooner, I’ll definitely be back.
