Truly an exceptional spot for French-inspired food. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Our favorites, though it's hard to choose, were the foie gras dumplings, the foie gras ham sandwich (don't recall the official name), and the chicken liver mousse. But honestly, every dish we tried was amazing. Highly recommend for a date night, dinner with friends, or even a solo visit. Side note: I've been here before for their steam burger, and it was incredible too.
Our first time here and we were underwhelmed given its reputation. Some of our dishes were lovely (fois gras, broccoli steak frites) but others were mediocre (tartare, Caesar salad). The menu was fairly limited. The wine book is extensive but way overpriced. (One of our favorite wines at home was selling for over three times standard retail.) We were a party of five and seating was cramped about table. The speaker for the sound system was directly above us so while we enjoyed...
Food was absolutely delicious. The honey roasted apple Caesar was fantastic, the foie dumplings are truly out of this world and the duck frites- perfect. Sitting at the bar watching the kitchen staff work their magic was a fun experience as well. Can't wait to go back. Only downside was that due to the nature of the space, we did leave smelling like ‘restaurant'.
