I figured as an airport spot it was grab and go, but when I ordered a pastry I got hit with a $1 surcharge the server couldn’t clearly explain. It was too loud and hectic to pursue the matter. Especially disappointing because PDX is known for reasonable pricing. I could find no explanation on the Capers website, and nothing about the fee seemed clearly posted. Sent a message on their web form but got no response. The pastry itself was fine, but I probably won’t return.

Good breakfast and dinner to go. I ended up eating here twice via Priority Pass after my flight was delayed and then moved to the next day. The sushi to go in the evening was surprisingly fresh and tasty. The Mediterranean scramble in the morning was great. Freshly prepared, very tasty, and was good value for the money.

What a great breakfast! Good coffee, Friendly, fast service. Conveniently located. Sit down or take out. Just what we needed before heading to our gate. Big shout out to Juana our delightful server. The cheese and ham omelette was delicious and the Farmers breakfast was perfect. More than enough.

They sell grab & go items with no "made by" date. And the staff has no idea when they were made. That sandwich could be a day old or a week old. Got a pre made burrito that was subpar the other day.Even with priority pass, I might start passing this place up. Not great quality.

We are vegan so ordered 2 separate side orders of potatoes. They brought out one plate and one set of silverware and said it was both orders. I said uh uh, nope, so they went back and got a smaaaaall bowl of potatoes and another set of silverware.Makes no sense. Get your act together, Capers Cafe. You get two stars because at least the waitress was nice.
The staff were so friendly and service was wonderful. The salmon sandwich was the best food I have had at any airport. Delicious healthy food!Dietary restrictions: They were very good about recommending something that did not have dairy. And went so far as to substitute the bun on my sandwich with sourdough knowing that the bun had dairy. So very conscientious about allergies and very accommodating.

Chronically understaffed, but the servers here hustle. Not the best for a super quick bite, but great for a drink or three and some surprisingly good food.Come to the airport early if you have a priority pass, but buy more than $28 or bring cash for a tip. These folks deserve it!

I had an absolutely delicious breakfast and then bought a slice of carrot cake to go. Yowza! Some of the best carrot cake I have ever had. (I wish I didn’t live 3,000 miles away.)

Menu listed wild chanterelles mushrooms on the burger and had a price to fit wild mushrooms and then the burger came with regular crimini or baby Bella's. That feels kinda yucky to sell people an elevated product and serve something else. I hope the airport or authorities step in cause I image if they are doing that with the mushrooms the waygu is probably not waygu.

Amazing food and quick service! We tried the chocolate muffin, croissant, salmon burger, bean salad and lamb gyro. Everything tasted great and the girls at the counter were very nice and helpful.
