Always get to pdx early to have time to enjoy chicken and waffles! Love!! Always have awesome service!
Based on my experience at this location, I'm not sure why its ratings are so low compared to the other Screen Doors. The place was clean and we received good service, with our food coming in a timely manner. The chicken and waffles tasted pretty much on par with what I've had numerous times at the Screen Door in SE Portland. Screen Door PDX Airport, located in Concourse B, offers impressive meal options. The Chicken and Waffles are a standout, featuring tender and juicy chicken with excellent flavor and spice. The mini sweet potato waffles are equally delightful. The restaurant also serves hearty dishes like biscuits and gravy and a bowl with blackened chicken, which is perfect for fueling up before a long flight. The staff provides very southern hospitality, being attentive, cheerful, and gets you seated right away. There is plenty of seating, including at the bar. Overall, this restaurant is a pleasant surprise in the airport, setting a high standard for airport cuisine and offering reasonably priced meals. It is consistently a great experience and one of the best airport dining options out there.
