Great, welcoming, hearty Mexican place in the heart of Hillsdale. Been there for decades so they're feeding their happy customers right. All your favorites (superb burritos, great tacos, elaborate custom guac whipped up table-side. Yummy!), and a surprising array of delicious seafood options. Fine (and stiff) margarita options from a skilled full-bar staff (add a shot of your favorite tequila on the side at a fair cost!). Wait staff also highly professional, attentive, and intent on serving all customers quite well. Tip them accordingly and generously. They earn and deserve it! So go already!

The food and atmosphere are great. If you're looking for a place like this you won't find better. But the staff is what makes this place stand out. Amazing to a person. Always love coming in, either to burn a few minutes while waiting in Hillsdale or with the whole family for a meal.

The quintessential “family Mexican” spot. Food is awesome, service is unparalleled (unlimited chips and salsa MEANS unlimited here, they’re refilling before you’re even done), and the vibes are exactly what you want for this type of spot. Sure, it’s a little spendy, but you’ll leave full and happy. Is it “modern fancy authentic Mexican” - no, go to Republica for that. This is easy, welcoming, comfort food like you’d get in the 90s, done well. I have to say again, the service is amazing!
