Our server was very friendly and helpful, even as things started to pick up because it was Cinco de Mayo. I don't remember his name, but he was our server from 12:30 to about 3:30. My Pina Colada was tasty, the appetizers were served quickly and our food was fresh and flavorful.

We have been many times with our family. Fantastic experience every time. Fun and colorful atmosphere (that kids love). And what a wonderful contrast to the other Portland-area restaurants--no unfriendly Portland blue-haired weirdos on staff. Mostly Mexican-American waitstaff is always very friendly, attentive, and fast. Family and kid-friendly atmosphere. The food and drinks are great. Thank you!

Got a vegetarian taco salad and burrito from here and they were both awful. The taco salad was literally cheese and lettuce. The burrito had carrots and cauliflower with a few pieces of cheese on top. Ended up throwing food away. Terrible!

Casa Colima never disappoints. Always great service, great chips & salsa, great Margaritas! Carne Asada is the first!Seafood also has a lot of flavor! They eat Shrimp mojo de ajo, or Devil's Shrimp. Very very good!Casa Colima is always our first choice for delicious Mexican food.

My partner and I live close to this restaurant and come often! It's difficult to find authentic Mexican food in the Pacific Northwest but Casa Colima is definitely a hidden gem. Their chips and salsa are delicious to munch on while waiting for your entrees to arrive. Every time we go, we have the Micheladas as our drink-of-choice. They're served in generous margarita glasses and pair perfectly with our entrees. My partner always orders their taquito plate and I always order their chicken molé enchiladas, which I can't praise enough! The servers are always friendly and very efficient. The whole restaurant is very vibrant, with each table covered in fun artwork. Definitely an underrated spot that needs more recognition!

Casa Colima has been our go-to Mexican restaurant for many years. It's just lucky for us that they are so close! We've always had great service and great food there, even when they are crowded, which is often. I love the chimichangas, but I've also had excellent enchiladas, carne asada, even nachos! Oh, sleeper hint: the coffee is also excellent!
My friend ordered the street tacos and said that's what she always orders there and I had the chili rellanos which had problano peppers and a tomato-based sauce. I knew it be different from what we have down in the Southwest, but I gave it a try. I'm used to the Ranchero sauce and Anaheim chilies, but was very surprised that they de-seeded the chilies and they were well-stuffed w cheese. Best part! Also had the table-side guacamole that my other friend said was not hot enough although it was all right for me. Also had the queso fondido ... it lacked taste and had hardly any chorizo... definitely not like the southwest. Oh well, I tried it at least
