Just stepped into the Cascade Cafe because I wanted to have a look around and see what the vibe was. It was under construction, so you had to go around to the left side of the building. They have a nice outdoor seating area. When I went inside, the place wasn't empty. A lot of people weren't there, probably because it's in front of the zoo and people are mostly in the center or the far back area of the zoo. It is quite a big building. There are tons of seats inside....
Open while construction in progress. Walk around building to the left. Espresso and other beverages, sandwiches, salads, pastries, and popcorn. Prices seemed reasonable. We only got espresso, but the food looked good. Prices seemed reasonable for the venue. Staff was friendly and efficient. It is accessible without zoo entry. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Restrooms are on the right side building. Paved parking available for a fee paid by app or machine. There is limited...
Nice cafeteria style option in the Zoo with enough choices to refuel yourself and rest a moment. Cashier was friendly enough and they had decent drink options. There was also a limited seating area along the Bird Arboretum which was cool!
