About Cathedral Coffee

Cathedral Coffee is a cute and beautifully designed coffee shop with plenty of outdoor seating. Located on Willamette Drive, it offers heavy cream lattes and brilliant muffins. The friendly staff makes it a great spot for meeting neighbors or working on laptops. With a comfortable and nice vibe, it is a popular choice for the community and University of Portland students.

The cozy and twee interior is worth it alone, and the open air concept provides great tables outside. Many of their foods are still made in house, while other items are brought in from a local kitchen daily. The coffee is pretty good, with a darker roast and pleasant flavors. Service is quick and super nice, making it a good choice in the neighborhood.

Fairly convenient if traveling by Trimet, with bus stops right in front. A bit out of the way from downtown but worth it. There’s a library and side spaces so it doesn’t feel overly crowded when busy. Great atmosphere for sharing a hot chocolate or enjoying Egg Bites as a gluten-free option.
