Took a door dash order that City Pizza (fka Champs Pizza) placed to use a dasher as a delivery driver. I know DoorDash won’t turn me into Bill Gates, however to use a service like DoorDash and only pay the driver two dollars is appalling

Went in to pick up an order for 2 pizzas, I get there, wait 10 minutes then they try to only give me 1 pizza. I have to show them the order is for 2 pizzas. I then have to wait around another 10+ minutes. They couldn't even bother apologizing for wasting my time.

Wow. Delivery order taking 2 hours 15 minutes. When order went in the order suggested 45-90 minutes. 135 minutes isn’t reasonable. Then when we called to check got a short answer after being on hold for 7 minutes.
I estimate this means low staffing, but that is a perfect moment to show customer appreciation not a “who cares” approach.
*update* now at 2.5 hours. Still waiting. Spouse drove to location to try and get our food. Just to find 3 employees hanging out by the counter and one order in the warmer.
*update #2* now 3 hours in. They finally admit the pizza was delivered to wrong location. Offer refund and to re-make order, c’mon that’s hardly making up for this. Additional sad story, spouse talks to a person at the counter 30 minutes ago who said “owner will call you tomorrow given How bad this was”. 30 minutes later we learn, that was the owner. Really!!!!!!!

Ordered pizza for a work event online. My order was confirmed for a 11:30am delivery. After 10 minutes past the delivery time, I call to no answer. Ended up calling another store to learn that this location's hours were changed to 4:00pm but was never notified. So now I have 10 people with no lunch that was promised to them and had to scramble to buy food through a different vendor. When I called at 4:00pm (outside my work hours) to get a refund, I was given no apology. I also expressed that I needed the refund receipt to reconcile the charge for work, but was informed they cannot email receipts and that I had to come in. Terrible customer service and will never use Champs again.
This place CAN be good, pizza particularly. But it’s inconsistent. The last time we ordered we got rubbery wings. Tonight we had salad with our pizza and it had black decaying lettuce throughout. Pizza was good but cold and looked like it had been thrown into the box.

Champ is legit. Where else can you get breakfast pizza at 8am!? And it's so good! May sound weird but they execute it well! Their detroit is awesome. The dough is fantastic. Once we even had a problem with our pizza not being ready back when they were open at 5am and they did us right! Customer service is excellent.

Ordered 2 pan pizzas for delivery and they didn't put sauce on either?? They're also incredibly tiny for $30 each, don't recommend unless you enjoy tossing money in a blender for funsies

Native Detroiter. Detroit style is great. Original is great too. Dough, pizza sauce, and toppings all top notch. Construction inconsistent but forgiveable. My only issue is I'm moving to West Beaverton and I'm devastated you don't have a location out there. Make one!

Usually we love Champs. They have been fantastic, this time on Wednesday evening, the new Detroit pizza was a fun try but not our favorite.
But the large stuff crust pizza our standard had a super flat crust! What happened? It's so thin!
