I'm a frequent customer at the checkered flag. I can't emphasize how much I enjoy the flag. From the impeccable cleanliness, professional service, food, music or a great game of video lottery. Most recently I decided to celebrate my birthday at the checkered flag. The experience was more than I would have ever imagined.Some of my close friends and family members have decided the flag would be their choice for such occasions.Safety ranks high with me when I want to simply have a great time. Their weekly food menu in my opinion, hands down, can't be beat. Just as the outstanding fun play on their jello shots. Twice a month you can enjoy a great night of karaoke as well. I would highly recommend going to the checkered flag if your looking for a safe and fun time! You will not be disappointed!
I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while and I’m glad I finally did. It’ll be one of my go-tos. They’ve done a great job with keeping the vintage charm inside and the patio is super cute and cozy. The bartender was super nice and welcoming. If you love dive bars that aren’t sketchy, check this place out.

First time here but was surprised at the interior when I came up. Incredibly welcoming and funny door man and the bartender was full of energy and so fun! The patio is absolutely beautiful warm and feels like a place you could take your mom, a date, friends, whoever and have a great time. Highly recommend

If you prefer a lot of phony, get to know the owner Jason. His wife believes she is the owner and treats him like her slave. I worked there for 11 and a half years before they took ownership. THEY ARE LOSERS WHO CLAIM TO LOVE ALL 'TYPES'. They will flick you off of their fingertips if you don't please them. STAY AWAY ?

I haven't tried the food yet, but the people and the atmosphere are great! Pool, pinball, karaoke, a fantastic patio, and a wide selection of CBD drinks in addition to the usual bar stock make this a fun and unique experience to enjoy often!

Every time I go to the checkered flag the bartenders are really nice and make me feel comfortable and welcome.the music is always playing and the people there are just regular people not drug addicts or homeless people .no offense to anyone experiencing those 2 things.i help people when ever I see a need I try to help.but at a bar I go to just unwind ,relax and forget about my problems for a few minutes so I dont want anyone asking me for money or a cigarette ya know.thats how the bar used to be I'm glad it's not like that any more no one is in parking lot shooting up .etc.ive seen that there before. It's just an overall much better place to kick back and do your thing eat ,drink ,play pool,watch sports GET DRUNK have fun listen to music and play video poker or Oregon lottery keno- you know!!:)
