If you prefer a lot of phony, get to know the owner Jason. His wife believes she is the owner and treats him like her slave. I worked there for 11 and a half years before they took ownership. THEY ARE LOSERS WHO CLAIM TO LOVE ALL 'TYPES'. They will flick you off of their fingertips if you don't please them. STAY AWAY ?

I haven't tried the food yet, but the people and the atmosphere are great! Pool, pinball, karaoke, a fantastic patio, and a wide selection of CBD drinks in addition to the usual bar stock make this a fun and unique experience to enjoy often!

Every time I go to the checkered flag the bartenders are really nice and make me feel comfortable and welcome.the music is always playing and the people there are just regular people not drug addicts or homeless people .no offense to anyone experiencing those 2 things.i help people when ever I see a need I try to help.but at a bar I go to just unwind ,relax and forget about my problems for a few minutes so I dont want anyone asking me for money or a cigarette ya know.thats how the bar used to be I'm glad it's not like that any more no one is in parking lot shooting up .etc.ive seen that there before. It's just an overall much better place to kick back and do your thing eat ,drink ,play pool,watch sports GET DRUNK have fun listen to music and play video poker or Oregon lottery keno- you know!!:)

Was asked to leave for "sleeping at the bar" even though I wasn't and hadn't even finished my drink. I was treated really nicely, but I just got angry and left. Lady who did it went out to check with the doorman to see if I was driving. I realized it was just a misunderstanding. She was doing her job and you can't exactly take a potentially drunk person's word on these things when you serve, and she's really nice for making sure I wasn't driving home drunk. This customer was not right. If you guys see this please let her know that I'm sorry for giving her an attitude when she asked me to leave. She was just doing her job. Also this place rocks and I'd still come back. Cozy and cute. Great vibes.

I give 1 star because i have to. This place treats their Regulars better than walk in customers. Extremely rude. Not sure who lady that sits and does paperwork in the mornings- and dont care, because she is awful to customers. Been going to CF for years...Not anymore. Good luck Checkered Flag.
