This place is amazing! Everything we’ve had has been so good. I love the east coast cheesesteak. The French dip is a must try. Their fries are crispy and perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Wandered over omw home from work and was starving. Ordered an east coast Philly steak it was legit and definitely reminded me of the east coast (grew up in CT/NY and Philly). Thank you for nailing the classic well. I'll definitely be back!

We LOVE Chopped Cheese PDX! We stumbled across this fabulous food cart by weird chance and make the trek regularly from Lake Oswego to enjoy the food and chat with the super cool owners. My partner is obsesseed with the Chopped Cheese and I loVe their Impossible burger(made to perfection!). And we always get the the seasoned fries which are SO delicious.
The eating area is really nice with comfy heaters in the winter and shade in the summer. Sometimes the music played in the area is awful(not supplied by Chopped Cheese, btw), but I can suffer through for such delicious food!

If you're looking for awesome comfort food, this will be your new favorite place!

Chopped cheese is now a regular craving. Potato salad should be added. French dip is the dankest memory can recall. Love goes into this.

So here is the deal. I’m an east coaster born and raised In Brooklyn New York. I also come from a background in food and hospitality.

I saw that this truck had 5 stars and I was impressed so I came down with my friend who happens to also be an east coaster. I’m a fried shrimp po boy guy and have tried many all over the world. The one I ordered honestly wasn’t it. It wasn’t a bad sandwich but it just wasn’t it. I think an improvement in the bread and the quality of the shrimp to start.

My friend ordered the Philly steak and let me tell you that wasn’t it either. I won’t sit here and say this was a horrible experience at all but as for the food maybe I need to come back but those two sandwiches weren’t it.

The people who work the cart were absolutely hospitable and cool as all hell. Great service and located in a dope little south east food cart spot. Unfortunately I’m here for the honest food reviews and this just didn’t hit the spot.

Well first off where do I start. I found this place on tic toc and had to give it a try. It’s in a food truck court with lots of seating. I met the owners and they are absolutely amazing people. We ended up ordering the east coast Philly, the Rueben, chopped cheese , coney fries and potatoe salad. Let me say they do not hold back on the portions. When you come and I know you will, bring your appetite. Everything was absolutely perfect and delicious. Everything is fresh and made to order. Now I know cheese steaks and Ruben’s and let me say you won’t find any better than these at chopped cheese PDX. You can tell the owners care about what there serving and they do it extremely well. All that we ordered was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough about this wonderful establishment. So now let’s get into the cheese cake, absolutely decadent and amazing. I’ll tell ya the presentation on the desserts are amazing. It’s well worth the drive, as far as I’m concerned I’d drive 3 hours for this great food. I’m glad that I don’t have to. So in closing if you wanna get your grub on and have some amazing food then look no further. Chopped cheese PDX is the place for you. Give this local spot a chance and you won’t be disappointed. I forgot to mention they give you a punch card and when it’s filled, well you know the drill. I’ve found a new spot to have awesome food. I definitely will be back. Hats off to the owners great people and absolutely awesome food.

I had the French dip for lunch today—it was so good that I ate it all before I could take a photo.

The beef was absolutely juicy and tender, all nice and melty with cheese and au jus. Just enough horeseradish—the best part. The bread was both soft and toasty. The entire sandwich just melted in my mouth.

So excited to have found this place. Just throw some money at them already, seriously.

Make sure you get extra napkins!
