Great neighborhood bar (but more of a diner), especially if you need a sports-heavy TV vibe. Very casual, not quite divey (but plenty of video poker) but decent food and a nice happy hour. This is a local dive bar, and it is wonderful. The outside patio is covered on one part and exposed on the other, making it great for a sunny day or a rainy day. They often have sports on the porch as well as inside there are pool tables and booth seating. The food is good for bar food and the drinks are extra tasty. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and knows their locals.
Home away from home, great place to take friends and meet new ones. Real community bar, with good drink and food. Had a very soft Calf Cab and steak while seat mate had perfectly cooked mac and cheese + bowl of French Onion soup. With Karaoke and poker machines and an awesome wait staff and bartenders, where else is better. Nah, this place is The real deal.
