I forgot to take pictures of our delicious meal! Shoot! I guess we will have to go back again. I was planning that anyway. We were seated right away. We got water and coffee very fast, and ordered. The wait for the food was not very long. It was truly delicious. I can see why there were many customers a little late on a Tuesday morning. This is an utterly charming and delicious hub of all the good breakfast things! Highly suggest. And... more to come as I am definitely going to...
I wish I took a pic but my goodness, it is such a delicious brunch here. I’ve lived in Portland for over 12 years and have been almost everywhere for brunch so I’m telling you, this is something special!!! French toast is exactly what French toast should be, the bacon is crispy & peppery, the poached eggs were perfect. Go!!!
The atmosphere of cricket is absolutely charming. Warm and bustling and clearly popular since there were many people waiting for a table. The staff was wonderful, attentive and truly made the experience enjoyable. Sorry to say that the food was disappointing. Flavors and textures didn't land well and I didn't want to finish, which is rare for me. I hope this was just an off day in the kitchen but I probably won't return. Again, love service and vibe. Thank you.
