Disappointed overall with the food quality and price. The yellow rice and beans were good, but my chicken was entirely burnt on one side + I only got one piece of chicken for the plate. According to the person taking our orders, the chicken plate was supposed to have more chicken compared to the bowl which my friend got. However, when I took my meal out of the takeaway container, it was the size of her bowl, though I paid more though for mine. The Caribbean salad also was entirely...
Not really a traditional Cuban sandwich, but it was really good. The meat on it was tender and juicy. I’d say it’s a “Portlandified” Cubano. Still delicious. Just not exactly what I expected. I’ll still probably come back here and there. I love that they have maduros as they can be hard to find around here as a person with Caribbean heritage.
Visited around 1pm Thursday. Excellent food and drinks. Cashier was great. Will certainly order again if I am in the area. Glad I don't live nearby or I'd visit TOO often. 😉
