I've known about this place for, literally, decades (it was founded in 1974, so they're going on 51 years in business) but we've never been until tonight. Our loss. Old-school PDX neighborhood dive bar, comfortable, reasonably-priced fare, immaculate burgers (we had the Western Burger and the mushroom-swiss burger AND NO REGRETS) and beautifully cooked fried potatoes (the tots were just a little salty, a small flaw in an otherwise very satisfying burger meal). Super friendly, fast sunday breakfast takeout. Place is all wood, beautiful bar, warm lighting. We're gonna come back for drinks. We lived so close for a while, i feel silly for never stopping in before. Extremely comfortable homey diner, and seeing the bartender at work, their drinks look great too.

New favorite bar in pdx. Went for a friend's bday at night, had to return the next day to try their breakfast.
It's spacious and cozy, the staff is friendly and funny (Patrick rocks), and has all the entertainment stuff you can want (pinball, pool tables, dance nights, etc).
Everything I ate there was killer - huge nachos with real ingredients; house-made fries were crispy af; and the house scramble breakfast was loaded and dreamy.... Didn't...
