I absolutely loved their tlayuda! From the cocktails to the mole, everything had rich flavor. I can't wait to come back and see what they do for their summer menu!

We were excited to try the chef’s menu at De Noche but ended up walking out because of the terrible service. When we got there, all tables were full but we were told we could go to the bar next door, Comala, and order food there. However, after 10 minutes we still didn’t have menus to order drinks. After asking about food, we were told we couldn’t order food from De Noche after all and only had a limited menu. So when a table opened up, we went back to De Noche to eat. We waited another 20 minutes and a server never came to take our order. Meanwhile other guests were getting refills and being served. This place boasts inclusivity, but as the only Latinos there besides the workers, we did not feel welcome. We ended up going to Chelo, another restaurant that serves great Mexican food and the service there was exceptional. The atmosphere was also really fun and inviting. It made our night after our bad experience at both De Noche and Comala, and I highly recommend it!!!

A unique touch on Mexican which tasted fantastic. First time eating out dinner in Portland and no regrets. The service was amazing and the waiters knew the menu very well. Definitely a place worthy of booking! We ordered the full menu and every dish was very well plated. The chicken and the birria were the highlights for me but worthy of trying the entire menu!

The food was lovely! We were in a hurry and they rushed our food order without any loss in quality. I was not very happy with the dessert. The chocolate mousse was dense like a ganache.

Been here twice now. The food is excellent and the wait staff is super nice. Some of the best service in Portland.

The sopa was wonderful, as were the two entrees - short ribs and chicken. Complex and interesting spicing. It was a little chilly by the window and I thought the portions could have been a tiny bit bigger - chicken (leg/thigh) was outweighed by the potato side. It would be nice to have a side option of a green vegetable to add to the meal. Would fully recommend this restaurant.

We had the most wonderful experience at De Noche last night! The food was so brilliant and expertly crafted. It was beautiful and delicious (and so were the cocktails and mocktails!) The service was fantastic, the waiters were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was definitely intimate and cozy. We all absolutely loved this little gem and are telling everyone we know that it's a must-go!! Bravo.

An absolutely incredible and memorable experience. Everything from the hospitality, to the drinks, the food, atmosphere, and music. Like everything was carefully curated to ensure this experience.I’m sure it will seem like a lot of food, but really consider trying the entire menu. I did it and really can not imagine having had such a wonderful evening had I not. The sopa, ensalad cardini, birria, quesadilla (and that orange sauce!), scallops in mole sauce… all of it… so incredible. Great wine, tequila, and mezcal options too!

This place is great. Having just returned from Mexico City, we were craving good high-end Mexican food and were a little nervous that this place wouldn’t hit the spot but it completely did! Very good ingredient quality and thoughtful dishes. If you haven’t had elevated Mexican food like this before, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try — you won’t be disappointed!

Really amazing food! Flew in from LA just to dry this unique Mexican cuisine experience. The quality of the ingredients shines and so does the care that they put into making it. Everything's fresh and the food is filling so come hungry !

I went around 5:45 on a Friday and there were plenty of seats. The smell of fresh tortillas cooking was sublime. I had the quesadilla frita- such classic northern mexican flavors. There’s an interesting selection Mexican wines to pair with food and a great cocktail bar with fun NA options.Dietary restrictions: I have a severe pine nut allergy and they were very careful to make sure none of my food was contaminated
