Overcharged and no one would respond: I had a beer, then while I was on my flight, someone else bought a burger on my tab. I tried to call - number on the receipt doesn’t work. Tried to email and included receipts, no one ever got back to me.

Manager was very rude, will never be there again. Was a guy on a Saturday afternoon at 12:45 and told me to leave for no reason.

We had a great experience, the beer was tasty, food great (burger and portobello sandwich), service was super-nice and quick. We sat down for our meal and had a great time waiting for our flight to board.
Not 100% sure what all the other reviews go on about 🤷

If you can get anyone to help you at the grab and go the sandwich is great. I had had them help me once in all the times I have flown out of PDX and wanted a sandwich.

The food was terrible, the service was even worse, and the bloody Mary was mediocre at best.

This is essentially a quick service location with a server brings the food and drink to me. Placed the order via app by scanning the QR code on the table.

- Find my own table.
- The elk burger tastes good but small in portion.
- Staff only brings food to the table, but doesn’t offer water or check if I need anything during lunch.
- I got the napkins by the bar table on my own. The staff doesn’t bring it to me.

The app automatically charges 20% gratuity after 40 mins. The service provided doesn’t match the amount of tips the app charges.

I would only come here for drinks but not for food.

What I’m buying is resentment 😂

Raw meat alert 🚨 🚨

I ordered chicken wings and fries. Strangely enough, the chicken came out first—within 5 minutes—while the fries were still cooking. I thought to myself, how does the chicken get here before the fries?

No fork, no napkins were brought to the table, so I just started eating anyway. First bite in and I realized the chicken was not cooked through. So much for “deep fried” wings. I told the waitress, and she took them back and asked if I wanted something else. Of course not—why would I trust this place to cook my food properly after that? I told her I’d just eat the fries.

Two minutes later, she came back with my bill, dropped it on the table, and said, “no rush.” Are you kidding me? Who does that? It’s an airport—nobody is risking dining and dashing, so there was absolutely no reason to throw the bill at me mid-meal.

All in all, horrible service and unsafe food. I really wish I had read the reviews before going here. Y’all need to fix up quick before those two stars turn into zero.

Deschutes at PDX is a great place to grab a bite before your flight. The burger selection is simple but done right — juicy, flavorful, and cooked just the way you want. The wings were a real standout: crispy, saucy, and absolutely delicious.

Of course, the beer doesn’t disappoint — fresh and flavorful with plenty of solid options to pair with your meal. It’s everything you’d expect from Deschutes, even at an airport location.

Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed despite the airport rush.

The service was terrible and when we tried to pay CASH, they were rude. It took five minutes just to get our change.

Terrible service. Tried our best to order sandwiches to go. Pre made sandwiches. The sandwiches are sitting there. Waited. Waited. But no one would come over to the TO GO kiosk to serve us. This is an airport!!! Why not hire a person to serve and ring up orders at the TO GO kiosk? A staff member told us “the TO GO kiosk is not our priority. OK then why not put a closed sign on the TO GO kiosk. Wasted 20 minutes for nothing. Awful experience.

Stopped here on my way out of Portland for some food, and ended up getting charged twice for my meal. I tried to talk to the manager that day and she told me it was pending and one would come off, but both transactions went through. I contacted the company and they wouldn’t refund me for the one charge because it was already “authorized”. I wouldn’t recommend eating here and I’ll definitely not eat here again when going to Portland.

Fries were clearly sitting in the heat lamp and came out 1 minute later after ordering. Chx cae salad took another 10 after that. Chicken was tough, lettuce had been sitting in dressing prior to serving as it was limp. Service was condescending and slow.

$17 for Stouffers - I order the Flatbread pizza supposedly a local favorite. I would bet $100 dollars that it was premade frozen meal from Sysco or somebody. If it isn’t you gotta ask what chef would purposely make something that looks and taste like store bought frozen pizza (not even fancy store bought pizza). I had one slice and then went to sizzle pie for some proper food. So disappointed I just feel taken advantage of.
