It was an amazing experience! The owner was very exuberant warm and easy going and just a good vibe! It’s extremely exciting to find places that are vegan and not overly priced and just cauliflower. I highly recommend this

Absolutely amazing vegan southern food!! My jaw dropped at my first bite of the ribs. Hushpuppies were so flavorful and delicious as well. The servings were generous and we brought home leftovers. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Absolute best place for vegan food in Portland. My I live 55 mi away from this restaurant but when the urge hits for dirty lettuce, there is no substitute. From ribs to wings to fruit pies, putting together your meal from their menu is a task in itself. I cannot recommend enough the cornbread which blows away anything you can find from any other restaurant on the I-5 corridor. I am happy to have you prove me wrong, but I don't think it can be done.Kid-friendliness: Laid back atmosphere with outdoor eating available. Small indoors but nice for a quick stop for a bite.

Perfection. A lot of variety, miss the grilled cabbage from back in the cart days, but can't really go wrong with this place

Incredible vegan food. Tastes just like the real thing. I loved the Mac&Cheese salad and my BF was raving about the ribs. Serving sizes were more than generous. Great pick for everyone in Portland - especially those who love plant-based food but it does go beyond that :)Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan/plant-based

Ordered delivery from Dirty Lettuce and it did not disappoint! The vegan ribs were incredible, I literally can't imagine better vegan ribs. The oyster mushroom "calamari" & fried plate was also delicious. Greens and Mac & cheese were good, slightly different style than I'm used to but that's just up to preference. Will definitely come back to this place next time I'm in Portland!

Food looks great and are larger portions, loved the mashed potatoes and the jalapeno slices, but over all everything else was VERY salty. All the "chicken" was overly salty. Mac n Cheese also very salty. Made it hard to eat everything.Had them in the past and this has not been an issue. Not sure if it's a new recipe but the salt amounts needs to be adjusted.

The fried chicken was good but for some reason the chicken sandwich was too salty. Might have been the cream cheese like sauce that was in it. Otherwise, everything tasted good! The Mac and cheese was good but did not pass the test for the little kids. Will definitely need to come back to try their other stuff.

This place is soooo good. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy this southern comfort food. I recently had the Mac and cheeze and the infamous bowl. I've also enjoyed the fried chicken plate and hushpuppies. Everything tasted great. The owner is kind and clearly very talented.

Discovered this place using Happy Cow for vegan restaurants, as I prefer to only order from all vegan establishments. It's the soul food I've been missing since moving from the south but cruelty free and therefore automatically superior. Their hush puppies are the best I've ever had, and the catfish & fried chikn is seriously the best. All the sides are on point and pretty much everything is fried and so good. Makes me miss the south and the Spanish moss even more, but a good taste of home while I'm here.

Delicious and super cute! The breading on the "chicken" is SO GOOD, even though the chicken itself is a bit meh (squishy texture). The catfish was also fun and tasty, and a dish I haven't had before as a vegan. The mashed potato bowl, fries, and bbq ribs were all delicious as well. The only dishes I weren't obsessed with were the hush puppies, which were a bit dry and overcooked, and the mac which did not taste very cheesy but was still a tasty pasta dish. The restaurant space itself was cute with a bunch of local vegan goods for sale. I ordered for pickup, so I can't speak too much about the service but it was cool that they had Crystal's hot sauce packets to go! I'm from the Bay area where we have tons of delicious vegan soul food, and this place was definitely on par with the likes of Vegan Mob and Souley vegan!
