Among the best donuts that I’ve ever had! Creative and delicious savory and sweet flavors! Also have vegan ice cream 🍦I ordered the earl gray tea and vanilla bean! Both were delicious! Updated from previous review on 2026-01-01

Ahh Doe Donuts, you have my heart and my wallet. Came here last year during my first trip to Portland, and instantly fell in love. Came back again this year, and it solidified my love for this place.

I can’t wait to go back. Counting the days…

These are perfect. Not tooth achingly sweet, super fluffy and fresh, and their unique flavors shine. We had the Portland Fog, salted vanilla and apple fritter with a coffee.

I found out after eating them they are vegan?! I’ll be honest, my experience with vegan products have been not so great so I often turn my nose up at them. I would have never guessed these were vegan!

No joke, they were so good, and it's been so long since I've had a good donut that they just made me very happy treats! The Portland fog donut was my favorite, but the classic die and the sour peach ring were amazing as well!

Great selection of expensive vegan donuts
The donuts taste great. At least the ones I had the Dubai chocolate doughnut is a bit overpriced. Portland dough is great classic for them. The apple fritter is good too.
The whipped cream, however, just doesn’t taste even close to dairy and was so so based on my taste.

This donut shop did not disappoint. They had so many seasonal and interesting flavors that other Portland places didn't. It's a bit out of the way of downtown, but worth the bus ride to enjoy vegan donuts ❤️

Doe does yeast raised vegan donuts well! No cake donuts available that we saw. We tried the sour peach ring, the Portland fog, the breakfast blt, and a savory chive one that I think was seasonal cause it’s not on the current menu anymore. I was ready for the bergamot to overpower the fog donut flavor but it was perfect. The blt one was an indulgent vegan junk food breakfast that was absolutely satisfying on an empty stomach. The sour peach one was so fun to eat in addition to delicious. Even the chive/savory one impressed. Glad we stopped by on our trip to Portland.

Doe Donuts is our fav vegan spot in Portland for pastries. They've got rotating donuts every month, in addition to the specialities they always carry. It's a small spot so they do kindly request only 4 people inside at a time for ordering, and staff continue to wear high-quality masks in the ongoing pandemic - all of which I appreciate. 💗🍩

A friend of mine said she was going to get me donuts a year or so ago, and when she brought them, she told me they were vegan. I was pretty disappointed to hear that thinking the worst. However, these were/are the best donuts I think I've ever had in my life! Every time I go, they are delicious and fresh! My favorite is the corn fritter! They also had a seasonal savory bahn mi that I hope they have again because it was really delicious! Hands down, the best donuts in all of Portland! My only complaint are the prices and they shortened their hours.

I remember loving these before I was vegan, and now having them a year or two later, they’re a taste of heaven. Portland Fog is a go-to and loved the Doe last time.

We’ve visited a few times and found them a bit hit and miss for us. Sometimes we love what we ordered but sometimes less so.
