It’s rare I ever post a negative review; I’m a glass half full kind of guy. First and foremost our waitress wasn’t a very kind person. What happened to introducing yourself to your table? I don’t know what her name was but she worked brunch on 8/10. The farm green salads description includes a first ingredient isncastelvetrano olives which is my most favorite olive. It came and had nearly none. It also states honey mustard dressing and it did not; it was a vinaigrette. The focaccia breakfast sandwich was absolutely putrid. Also in our order included Tagliatelle al Burro which was null on flavor; we also got a spicy Italian sausage patty to add to the pasta to introduce flavor. It had 0/5 in spice. I shared with our server our dissatisfaction and she responded “oh, you didn’t like?” No efforts made to make things right.
It’s cute. Food is not.

Oh wow. I read reviews about this place online so we made a visit when we first arrived in Portland tonight. There was only seating at the bar and that was fine as it was last minute and this place was booked up. The service was great, the drinks just perfect and the food - excellent! My husband was skeptical at first but the more he ate, the happier he was! The heirloom tomato dish with one of the foccacias is a must! We combined the prawns with a tagliatelle- delicious. The cocktails were well crafted and tasty. We will be back!

We found this Italian restaurant that uses Southern Mediterranean ingredients and flavors during a stay in a downtown Portland. What a gem! Food was so tasty and so are all the drinks. Nice little quite place to relax and have an enjoyable evening. Highly recommend.

What an awesome meal! My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic meal at Dolly Olive while celebrating our Honeymoon in Portland. The restaurant was a cozy, intimate vibe. The food was excellent, the carrots were definitely a stand out for us! Both Pasta dishes we had were also excellent. Our server Austin was excellent, very friendly and attentive! Would come back for sure!

Cozy, chill, trendy resto in heart of dt pdx, food was pretty good. Last time i came here i really enjoyed their mafaldine with shrimp in tomato sauce so i went back for the dish but the menu changed -- the dishes we ordered were delicious, too!

Authentic but with modern twist Italian with fantastic flavours. Probably one of the best meals I’ve had in the US. The ribeye and the potato cavatelli the standouts.

This has become our new favorite place! Love the Warm Olives and Dolly Focaccia with a glass of Wine for Starter. Their Burrata with seasonal Berries is amazing. The homemade pastas are delicious and when we have room for dessert, it’s a hard choice but I love the Affogato. This is a small local gem and always busy, but the the service staff is caring and efficient every weekend we’ve been. SO glad we found it!
