I am so very happy that Joe (Mr Kim) is back from his attempted retirement from Donuts Plus. The fellow who took over was a disaster but now the shop has returned to being the best and most friendly donut store I have encountered in my 74 years. Thank you, Joe!!!

I love recommendations. Per a recommendationon the Nextdoor app, I went to Donuts Plus today to check out their donuts. The sign states the days and hours of operation. Tuesdays they are closed. I found the place was closed today, Thursday February1st, although it should be open per their schedule.This was disappointing. There was a phone number I could call and I did. I had hoped this was a fluke. A man answered. I mentioned I passed by and the store was closed. I came all the way from the St Johns area. He interrupted me and said "We're closed Tuesdays and open the rest. We're too busy right now." I tried saying today isn't Tuesday, but he talked over me, repeated his statement and hung up on me. This is no way to do business. It was flat out rude. Just saying.I can't speak of quality of donuts. I wasn't given the opportunity to try them. As to atmosphere, I could see in the glass storefront. This is a place I might only purchase to go. Parking is not a problem here. Maybe there is a language barrier? All I know is that isn't the way you should handle your customers.

The old owner is back and the donuts are as great as ever. Glad to see Mr. Kim back behind the counter making donuts for his beloved customers. My favorite is the chocolate old-fashioned. Good fresh coffee too.Kid-friendliness: Always gives extra donut holes for the kids!

Update: So, I just found out they are closed on Tuesday's now. I went to another nearby local donut shop and realized that the prices compared to donuts plus was double, the oil used in my apple fritter was not nearly as fresh as donuts plus and the donuts were overall just worse. I'm certainly no donut connisseur but as a layman, I can tell you the flavors at donuts plus doesn't taste artificial and the dough has a nice texture compared to other places.

Great spot for pumpkin cake donuts and apple cider donuts this fall. Bought a dozen for work and they threw in donut holes for free but those were kinda stale.

I went in Saturday to see what the donuts looked like and they looked good. I was a little worried because it was 3 in the afternoon and the case was full of donuts, I was worried because I doubted they would get rid of that many. There was a lady there and she said that the donuts were awesome. We went Sunday morning case was full we ordered a half of a dozen. When I grabbed my first donut an apple fritter as soon as I touched it I could tell they were in a refrigerated case no one wants a cold donut. I was really disappointed. I did take them home and if you microwaved them they were okay. I would recommend that you make enough for the day and don't save them. Donuts need to be made fresh daily and not refrigerated

I hate leaving bad reviews to small businesses, I’m the first one to show up and support, but this place looks horrible, not organized at all, looks like the people that works in there are very lazy, not even taking the napkins for customers out of the original package… the server was clearly in a hangover, I had to help her to give me the change back and she had a really rude atitude, plus the bagel with cream cheese she made for me without washing hands right after giving me my change back. Disgusting. Never coming back. ?

Went in this am early on a Sunday. Super disappointing! I loved this place and talked about the amazing donuts. No more!! Cases were full. I know why. Day old, maybe older donuts are now sold! Frosting is dry and cracking! AppleFritter was terrible, old, crumbling and not one apple. We threw the entire dozen in the trash!! Sure wish the old owner was back:(
