The atmosphere can be quite dark and loud, which attracts many guests, but the old fashioneds are consistently good. The setting is intimate, with small tables and about 10 seats at the bar, providing a classic hotel bar experience. The staff has always been respectful, and the overall experience is highly positive, with good drinks, good food, and great service. The hotel rooms are also well-regarded.
