I've been coming here for years but I moved out of town but I was visiting today so I decided to swing by Du's and wasn't happy with the food. The price has certainly gone up but the quality has gone downhill. Oh and they didnt give me any utensils ?
I absolutely recommend this place the food is amazing & I love that the owner has made it a policy if a homeless person is hungry to knock at the backdoor they will feed you because he believes no one should ever have to starve God bless you & I wish more places were like thisParking: There is a very small parking lot with minimal parking sometimes you may have to park a couple blocks away & walkWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Amazing family owned restaurant that never misses! Doesn't matter if you're getting it togo or eating in portions are the same food is always fresh and the owner/cooks are amazing! The owner is a super happy guy who is so sweet and willing to help anyone out. Came in on a Friday at dinner and was served in 5 mins from paying and the food is FANTASTIC! Meat never has any fat on it always cooked to perfection and the teriyaki is sweet and adds perfectly to any of the meats! Just recommend getting the salad on the side (which is also very yummy) 100/10 would recommend best place for lunch/dinner.

I looooovvveee this place!! Chicken teriyaki has always been a comfort food for me and Du’s is the place I get it from. Every time it’s perfect. They never skimp on chicken, salad, or rice. I suggest this place to everyone.

You can tell it's changed owners since I was last here maybe 7 or 8 years ago the prices have gone way up but the food was good the dining room liked pretty shabby and the floor was dirty, they only had cans of soda because the fountain machine was broken when you order your meal and pay they have a touch screen to add a tip before any kind of service that always seems so greedy to me i doubt we will be coming back.
I love du’s but I feel it’s falling off. They’ve been out of spicy chicken for weeks now, fountain machine hasn’t worked for ages, drink cooler just about empty, inside is dirty and dusty. Prices have doubled in the last 6 years and the wait seems to get longer every time I go despite time of day.Edit: went back today 3/22/24 was told they had spicy chicken back so I ordered it to go and paid, when I open the bag to eat lunch it was regular chicken. What am I tipping for?

Best Teriyaki Chicken in Portland! Nice proportions, amazing teriyaki sauce, a tasty salad dressing, rice, all in a big sized takeout container. I asked for extra sauce and dressing and was given a small container of each, at no extra charge. A special treat!Parking: The space is narrow. I’m always worried about having another car hit me when they pull in or pull out, but I’ve been coming here for 10+ years, and so far no incidents.

Used to go to the one in Vancouver WA. Was bummed after it closed down years ago. Did not know the main one was in Portland. Born and raised in Hawaii eating tons of Teriyaki I can say Du’s is elite. Definitely Korean inspired; simple, fast, filling, affordable and delicious. Also shouted out by Aminé in a song which is a nice cherry on top.
