We had a great time. Food was quite good, we were seated quickly, and good service. We'll be back.
Only a portion of the restaurant was open when we visited; no seats by any windows. But the food was excellent as was the service. Unfortunately, a very large group (12+ diners) with many small kids came in halfway through our meal and were noisy and the kids ran around the place screaming. Not the restaurant's fault but it did make our experience less enjoyable. Would recommend the samosas, naan, chicken Tikka Masala, the Vindaloo with lamb and the Tandori chicken.
While there was only one server when we arrived at 5:15 he was very attentive. The food came out quickly and was excellent. At the time we came there were only about 8 people dining so it was pleasantly quiet
Went there for valentine day dinner on Friday night with 8:30 reservation. It took 10 minutes to get a menu and another 10 minutes to place our order. By 9:00, before our food arrived, most other patrons had left and the staff started cleaning up, banging dishes into tubs, putting chairs away, generally closing shop. Our food came and was really good as always, but the check was dropped faster than the menus had been given! After our first drinks, we weren't able to order another round as bar closed at 9:00. Then we were told the kitchen had closed and desert wasn't available. We asked when they close and the waiter said 9:00. It was 9:26, not even an hour after we arrived. We left having eaten well but very unhappy with the service for a special night out. Adding to the insult was walking past many other restaurants still open and going strong - Of course, because it was just 9:35 on a Friday and Valentines day!
The service was phenomenal. I cannot rave enough about the tandoori salmon and the chicken Tikka masala. The ice cream trio of cardamom, mango, and chocolate was incredible also. Thank you for a wonderful evening
This place is a hidden gem. The food is fantastic and very reasonable priced. Not typically my go to for food styles and yet I have loved everything I've tried. Give a try, you won't be disappointed.
Food was mid. We had murgh tikka - 5/5, papdi chat -4/5, Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani -3/5 mango lassi -3/5
The ambience is warm and cozy, service is 10/10

Always high quality food in clean tasteful surroundings! Wish more people would patronize this gem of Indian cuisine in the struggling downtown area. We have been going to this restaurant for years and it is the best Indian food in the Portland metro! I was raised in India so feel I am a discriminating diner!
Food is AMAZING!!! I love the dim atmosphere and comfortable seating!

Had an amazing dinner at East India Co! Not going to lie we've past a few times and skipped because it looks empty but it's all in the back! The food was great!! Drinks also amazing. Great lassi. Amazing butter chicken and tandoori. Naan also super tasteful and yummy. Did not disappoint.

Paneer Tikka lived up to my expectations but Rice was not cooked to perfection. Garlic Nan and mint raita were ok.
