A great oyster place on Williams Street in north Portland. They have oysters on the half shell at a reasonable price. And they are so good. They usually have several different kind of oysters. Their dishes are mostly Southern cooking. Their Po Boy sandwiches are the best. The service is good too.
$22 for a dozen oysters is unheard of! Prices here are unreal across the menu. $5 beers?! We also got a debris po-boy, which was delicious and came with more fries than the two of us could eat. The bartender was super cool. 10/10, you have to check this place out.
The oysters are always good. I wish they had a seared or blackened option. Heavy breading isn’t my favorite.
THEY CLOSE EARLIER THAN GOOGLE MAPS.
^ out of stock at 7:00pm last call at 8:30 when google maps says 10:00pm. So have a back up. I loved the Étouffée. Spicy, supple, perfectly cooked.
Worth a shot but I’ve been turned away half the times that I’ve come more than hour before closings
