We were in town for a candlelit concert and came here for a quick dinner. We are from the Midwest and have struggled to find ‘Midwest/southern’ flavor. This place was delicious! The seasoning was perfect. Wasn’t greasy. Chicken was crispy. Fries were home made and cooked perfectly. Thank you!

Great to see Dub back! We had the chicken strips with Cole slaw, greens, and fries. Everything was as good as ever, and the new location is easier to get to, and has easy parking.
Saw this cute little green food cart outside of the bar and was pleasantly surprised with their menu!catfish was tender and perfectly

Dubs has been around Portland for years at various locations. He has had followers who find him anywhere he opens up shop. Recently circumstances came to pass allowing him to open up for The Snug bar. His food is as good as ever. My personal favorite is his Chicken Philly with fries. It's not exactly on the menu but he makes it anytime. I've only ever had Catfish twice, Dubs was the first time in a po'boy. It did not disappoint. Light and crispy, flavorful coating and a generous portion of fish.

I heard it was the best Fried Chicken in Portland. Absolutely! Patio space is great too. Especially for physical distancing.
