We just love eating here. We love how close it is to our house and how much depth of flavor there is in all the meats and sauces. We keep wanting to try the other food carts in this pod, but it's just so hard to skip past our favorite cart. We recommend the wet burrito and all the tacos!

Constantly takes forever. There is ONLY ever 1 guy. So if someone’s ordered before you, not only will the staff ignore you and not tell you how long you need to wait. Instead he just looks at you as you stand there for up to 20 min….i can walk to the other 5 food places nearby in that timeframe, if only they would just say it’s going to take a while to order (bad customer service) ……nope you just stand there for 20 MINUTES staring at the guy and it’s literally not a joke or an over exaggeration…. Ridiculous, hire another person. Seriously.

It was a bit cold so I had tacos de tripa and consume—both specials that day. Both very flavorful! The habanero salsa also has lots of flavor with a good kick! There’s menudo and pozole blanco on the menu, but was told that it not quite available yet and probably will be toward the end of October. Can’t wait to try it!

Amazing Mexican food cart, I got the al Pastor burrito mojado style and was just blown away. Such amazing flavor and presented beautifully. This cart out performs many brick and mortar spots. A-freaking-plus!

This is some of the best food in town - Mexican or otherwise - served by the friendliest people! The cart pod also has great seating and drink specials. I've tried the enchiladas, huaraches, burritos, huevos rancheros, mulitas, tortas, etc. and all have been 10/10. I'm usually the person that gets the same thing from a restaurant every time, but I'm working my way through everything at this place!

By far the best tasting tortillas and the best taco truck in portland. The al pastor is unmatched. And the owner Juan is the kindest person ever. They moved from the east side to St. Johns and we still ride out there when we can to get our fix.

look I'm not going to give a bad review but we ordered food and it was a simple burrito... they forgot to put the meat in the burrito. The original we had sat outside the cart and even had to tap on the glass in order to get attention to order the food. it's not that we're impatient. we were patient. once we ordered the food we took it to go. It was when we got home we realized there was no El pastor. The whole burrito was beans and rice. ugh. That's not where the money.

El Catrin never disappoints! We’ve had a few things from their menu and loved them all. The tostadas are sooo delicious and usually our go to along with the picaditas and mulitas. Last time my husband got the carnitas burrito and really liked it as well! Says it’s now his favorite burrito spot in St. Johns :) If you haven’t, give them a try!
