A special anniversary dinner was made into a magical evening with live music for romantic ambiance, incredible wines, quality NY steaks, attentive and friendly service by Mason. From the valet opening my car door to greet me, to the cookies added into our togo bag, our anniversary dinner was a special occasion because of El Gaucho Portland. Thank you.
This was our first time. We were visiting my cousin and his wife who live in Portland. This was their first time. Had reservations but there was a little wait. No big deal. We were seated at our table and the water service was prompt and so was our waiter. However, when he arrived at the table, he immediately said that we would not not need the wine glasses. So he took them out off the table. I guess we did not look like the wine drinking client. Yet we had come to Oregon to taste...
Our waiter Isaac is excellent. Second time I have been waited on by him. We had a great time, the only negative and this is a little picky is that the guitar player is a little loud. If you’re seated close to him, it’s difficult to have a conversation with your guest guests.
