El Yucateco is a Mexican food-cart in a pod lot. They have a solid reputation for burritos but I like to have tacos when trying a Mexican joint so I can discover which of their meats I like best. I chose a carne asada, al pastor and a Cochinita which is a kind of pulled pork.
I taste tested a bit of each meat by itself. The pastor had the most flavor but all three were quality meat. They have a creamy green, red and habanero hot sauces. I liked the red and habanero best.
The tacos are just $2.50 each, which makes them one of the best value tacos in the VanPort area. Next time I'll try the Chile Relleno burrito or Fajita burrito.

Best food cart in Portland!! I live close by and never gave it a try because I always chose another place, but wow, what a mistake that was. The workers are always kind, and the food never disappoints. Go try the asada fries, they’re delicious!
