I love this place. I love this pizza. I love the folks who work here. I came in right at closing one night and they let me and my bestie in still and served us with a smile. Literally SO NICE and I'll love them forever for that.
Wandering this Portland neighborhood, we strolled by this place. It was only a few steps past it, when my wife espoused on how good a slice looked that a woman was having at one of their outdoor tables.
Both she and I woke up the next day and had both been thinking about it and decided to go there to grab a slice for lunch.
Did it taste as good as that lady’s slice did the previous day? Oh, yeah!

Yeah, I've been here a bunch, and the pizza is killer. The service isn't great, but it's not terrible. It's just the way it is, I guess. That's why they call it Escape from New York Pizza.
