We visited Fabos Tacos this past weekend and this is definitely the Taco spot you want to hit up. I have been visiting different places that advertise to have the best tacos in Portland. But Fabos Tacos is the one hands down. Tacos hit the spot and the cocktail drinks are on point, the vibe was awesome.

Great atmosphere in the heart of the city with a super friendly and helpful staff! We had the Birria Ramen, Al Pastor Tacos, frijoles, and cucumber melon aguas frescas. The Birria Ramen was hands down the best I've had The consomme and meat were perfectly seasoned, we didn't leave a drop to waste! The Al Pastor was delicious as well , with the pineapple giving the perfect amount of sweetness . The tortillas are house made and bursting with masa flavor! They use black beans for the frijoles which was a very welcome change from most taquerias! The star of the show may very well have been the aguas frescas, absolutely thirst quenching deliciousness that had us going back for more! At Fabos they use authentic serving dishes which adds to the experience as well. Taquerio Mucho!!!

The food is so good! I wish I would have taken a picture but it didn't last long enough on my plate! My tacos and rice & beans tasted fresh and flavorful. I'd def recommend for an authentic Mexican meal.

These are some of the best tacos I have had in a long long time! I tried the birria, al pastor, and the veggie and all were delicious. Highly recommend!

The tacos are really small (for the price), very little to them, and honestly, kind of bland. The people working were really nice and got the food out quickly.

Ordered burritos ahead but I got there only a couple minutes after ordering. I expected a wait but it was ready just a few minutes after I got there! Rice in burritos is usually a turn off but the rice was so soft and perfectly seasoned. The ratios of everything in the burritos was perfect. They have vegetarian chorizo, which was delicious. My wife described the salsa as "exceptional". Lots of depth of flavor, and the red salsa is just a little spicy. Portion was really generous for a reasonable price, especially for the area. It was so good that we ate too fast to get review pictures. 10/10

I went into this establishment trying to purchase a drink, and when I tried to use the restroom they denied me access bc I wasn’t buying food. I work an office job, so my attire was clean, they denied a paying customer access to their restroom because I wasn’t hungry. The food isn’t the worst tho, but their rice was bland, so 2 stars!
