We are so impressed with this restaurant, it’ll be our new Thursday night date night spot!
We enjoyed the ambiance greatly, were delighted by all 8 dishes we got, and loved the service.
My husband ordered the Old Fashioned Cocktail and the Bar Manager came out to introduce himself and tell us more about what makes it so special. He actually works with a local distillery to create the drink and bottle it. It was so good we ordered 2 and then went to the store down the street to buy our own bottle!
The small plates are incredible, and from 5-6 each night you can get a little 2-person sampler of all of them for only $38! Best deal in town! And then if you’re hungry, the steak was cooked PERFECTLY.
We couldn’t decide on a dessert so we ordered both!! Glad we did.

Was super stoked to eat here after the Eater article. Food was decent, not good enough to survive in a more bustling neighborhood of Portland. Service was execution only - no additional conversation or insight despite the restaurant being newer. Drinks were lower in volume and not impressive. Bit of a let down.

A very memorable birthday dinner! This is a fine dining experience first and foremost. Though I usually do have some dietary limitations (gluten, egg, dairy) I could pretty much ignore my usual vigilance because of their inclusive yet refined, elegant, and unique menu preparation. They also made it easy to share our plates amongst all of us. I’m aware that their menu will change as the available produce changes with the season, but the carrots with the black tahini sauce, and the roasted cabbage were both standouts. I don’t often get to dine like this, but I will return as often as possible.

Sat at the bar and had the steak tartare, and the charred cabbage.
Not to say that steak tartare wasn't absolutely incredible but I had no idea cabbage could taste that good. It was absolutely incredible, the puree on the bottom.... I had to resist from licking the plate so instead I just scraped it clean with my fork ?.
Robbie and Griffin took care of me at the bar, they were knowledgeable, kind, and walked me through drinks. I got to try a sunchoke liquor I had never seen before. The ginger turmeric shrub was incredible.
Nothing but praise I'll definitely be back with friends.

This was the best dining experience I've ever had in Portland. I can usually only eat at a hand full of places due to my long list of food allergies, but was able to enjoy several menu items. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the food was outstanding. The cauliflower, five spice mushrooms, and Sauvie Island salad were standouts. I plan to return as often as possible.

Visited for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The menu left options for everyone. Service was top notch. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive without interrupting dinner. We tried a number of things, every one of them excellent, but my favorite was probably dessert the flourless chocolate torte with blackberries and hazelnuts. Wish I'd have ordered two! We'll definitely be back soon! ❤️

I’m a longtime supporter of the owners and am glad to see Paul with a new restaurant. I dined here and sample many items from the menu, chiming in with constructive feedback in hopes that this new restaurant can improve:
-Bone Marrow: we ordered 2. Mine was seriously burnt, with the back side of the roast black. It wasn’t until later when I remarked on how much I disliked this that my husband said his was not burnt at all. Sounds like the kitchen needs to keep an eye on this. The char was not pleasant.
-Carrots were the big standout, along with the salmon. Both very unique and delicious. Carrots were difficult to serve with the provided serving spoon. Tongs would help a lot.
-Affogato was…very odd. I'm very surprised it made it to the menu. For me, nothing about it worked and the rest of my party didn't like it, either.
Otherwise, beautiful space and wonderful
wait staff. I'm hopeful the menu will be finessed and the quality more consistent across the menu as they grow.

I am not one to leave reviews, but my experience at Fallow's is one to rave about. Hands-down one of the best meals of my life. The albacore tuna entree was my favorite, but everything was super delicious. It felt so great to leave a restaurant not only full, but with nutritious, farm-to-table nourishment. Cannot wait to come back!

A fantastic location (the patio is perfect for an afternoon or evening libation even on the hottest days), great ambiance, but we’re here for the food and drinks right? This is a fantastic collision of consciously sourced ingredients and artfully crafted flavors. I’m going to try everything on the menu, and the cocktails, but so far the marrow the salmon, the cauliflower and the gem lettuce. Just amazing. And the staff? This is a labor of love and it shows. From the hostess to the waiters to the owners you can tell this is hospitality. This will be a weekly stop for me.

Recently opened for dinner. My wife and I ate there and left feeling satisfied inside and out. The food and drinks are wonderfully creative and refreshing. Sort of like an art gallery for your mouth. We highly recommend it. It's a good feeling having exotic tastes that are good for your health. The interior is a tiny bit noisy but as things progress and the walls get more art and everything settles in I'm certain that will change.
Parking: I'm handicapped therefore my wife dropped me off and she found parking not too far away on the street.

The food, the drinks, the staff, the location, everything is great. We ordered about 1/2 the menu and everything was DELICOUS. Somehow the mushrooms and the gem lettuce stole the show, and I've heard the carrots are even more amazing. I'll definitely be back to confirm :)
Vegetarian options: Half the menu was vegan, and incidentally the most delicious items as well :)
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan options.
Parking: Plenty of parking on nearby streets.
