I love coming here. It reminds me about pastries in Germany minus the beer. Never had anything I didn't like. The owner Edgar is so polite, always caters to our groups when we meet there and is very friendly and polite. I have great experience whether I go by myself for a quick bite or for a business meeting. Cannot stop recommending this place.
As someone who is moving to Germany, this bakery is helping me to get a little taste of what I miss in Berlin. The bread is really good and I like their recipes for the breakfast sandwiches and such. The staff is always super rad, the patio is comfortable, inside is cozy, highly recommend
After the first bite of the Nutella roll I added this to a list of my favorite places in Portland. After I finished my partner and I both decided that it was in the top 5 best things we’ve eaten in Portland (lived here 5 years). We also got the breakfast sandwiches on the pretzel bun which were also very good. I probably will start never shutting up about this place. Absolutely adorable atmosphere too. Busy but not wildly crowded on a holiday Friday.
